Jasmine's absolute favorite part about working with animals is getting to know both the pets and their owners, and the rewarding experience of earning their trust.
While Jasmine doesn't currently have any pets of her own, her love for animals is evident in her work!
When she's not at the hospital, Jasmine enjoys going to concerts, spending time with family and friends, and playing video games. Her go-to comfort food is macaroni and cheese, her favorite candy is Skittles, and her preferred drink is Sprite.
A fun and surprising fact about Jasmine is that she loves farm animals, with donkeys being her favorite.
Jasmine's favorite season is Fall. She loves that it's "not too hot but not too cold," appreciating the changing leaves and the perfect weather for sitting outside and simply enjoying the moment. She shares that her passion for animals and their healthcare only grows with each appointment.
Jasmine joined Ghent and Granby Vet in Summer 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant. She graduated from Old Dominion University with her Bachelor's degree in Spring 2024, and is presently in the licensed veterinary technician program at TCC.
